Safeguarding
SHARE Multi-Academy Trust will, in respect of each academy, act in accordance with, and be bound by, all relevant statutory and regulatory provisions for safeguarding. Safeguarding policies can be found on each individual school website.
Each academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of all of its pupils. Each pupil’s welfare is of paramount importance. We recognise that some children may be especially vulnerable to abuse. We recognise that children who are abused or neglected may find it difficult to develop a sense of self-worth and to view the world in a positive way. Whilst at school, behaviour may be challenging. We recognise that they may exhibit concerning behaviours and at times this may impact on other children either directly or indirectly. We will always take a considered and sensitive approach in order that we can support all of our pupils.
We deliver safeguarding education to all pupils using a variety of means including:
- the school curriculum and environment;
- assemblies;
- external speakers and enrichment activities.
We commit to working closely with all parent(s)/carer(s) and guardian(s) to support every young person to achieve their Personal Best and remain safe. If any parent(s)/carer(s) and guardian(s) would like to discuss any safeguarding concerns they are encouraged to contact the Designated Safeguarding Lead at the relevant academy.
