Are you passionate about making a positive impact in education? SHARE Multi-Academy Trust is recruiting Members, Non-Executive Directors, Independent Members for our Finance and Audit & Risk Assurance Committees, and Governors for our Local Governing Bodies.

We are looking for experienced and committed volunteers from a variety of different sectors and our local communities to help strengthen our governance and guide the vision of our Trust. SHARE Multi-Academy Trust is a partnership of four secondary and four primary academies, and we need your expertise to support the next generation of learners.

Roles Available:

• Trust Members act as guardians of the Trust, ensuring Trustees govern effectively in accordance with its statutory obligations and Trust values.
• Non-Executive Directors combine their skills and expertise from education, finance, law, HR, marketing, and other sectors to help ensure the Trust meets its objectives and statutory obligations.
• Audit & Risk Assurance / Finance Committee Members provide high-level oversight of financial, audit, and risk matters, offering strategic recommendations to the Trust Board.
• Local Governors: act as a ‘critical friend’ to the academy; supporting the Trust Board in achieving the academy’s aims and objectives and holding leaders accountable for the progress and well-being of every pupil.

Commitment:

• Minimum of four meetings per year (up to 2 hours per meeting).
