Margaret was a Food Technology Teacher (BEd Hons) in secondary schools for many years and has more recently served as a Governor for 8 years, becoming Vice-Chair and Chair. In her role as Chair, Margaret was extensively involved in the decision to join a MAT, the search for a suitable match, and the subsequent transition to SHARE MAT. 

Emma is MD of a geotechnical services business, based in Shelley, but with offices opening up nationwide. She is a founding shareholder and director of the business, having graduated from University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Laws and spending 3 years in banking. The business specialises in ground investigation and geo-environmental engineering, and Emma’s role is to drive the strategy and development of the business whilst supporting the managers in the business.

Phil worked in the water sector for over 30 years, initially for three water companies and then for the Consumer Council for Water (CCW), where he was Deputy Chief Executive. As a Non-Executive, he chaired the standards committees of a Local Authority and a regional Fire and Rescue Authority, and chaired a complaints committee for a regional Police & Crime Commissioner. He currently holds a number of positions in the voluntary sector, including Trustee for a mental health advocacy charity in the West Midlands and Chair of Trustees for a MAT in West Yorkshire.

Cleo has enjoyed a long and successful career in accountancy roles in both industry and the public sector. She was formerly Director of Finance at the trust until her retirement in 2023. Cleo led the finances of the trust from its inception in 2011 initially as a single academy trust, then supporting senior leaders with the conversion of new schools through the growth of the multi-academy trust.

Retirement has enabled Cleo to devote more time to walking in our wonderful local countryside, spending time with her family and friends, gardening, keeping fit, and pursuing new hobbies and interests.

Mark works for an international liquid packaging and processing company and has been involved in operational, change and strategic roles. He is currently responsible for driving forward part of the business globally.

Mark lives together with his partner and their two children in Cleckheaton and was previously involved as a school governor for over six years.

Jeanne has a wealth of experience in education, gained as a teacher in secondary schools and as a lecturer and senior leader in higher education. She has a PhD in Education and her research and publications have focused on continuing professional development. She is currently a Professor and Pro Vice Chancellor at Leeds Beckett University.  

Andrew has a background of working in government and public service organisations having been a National Director implementing service improvement and redesign programmes. He now supports multi-academy trusts, education, health and care organisations to develop, deliver and implement dynamic governance and inspirational leadership strategies that are fit for purpose and provide value for money.

John is the CEO of SHARE Multi-Academy Trust. He has over 17 years of experience as a senior leader in schools, including two leaderships, and he is a National Leader of Education.

John has an MBA in Educational Management and has industry experience prior to starting his career in education. He has taught in secondary schools and has enjoyed learning from working with primary schools as the trust has developed.

John believes that great schools can help all pupils develop positive attitudes to the world around them that can last a lifetime.  This means providing a varied, rich curriculum, a willingness to work hard and the ability to build strong, supportive relationships.  In his view, “Our belief in ‘Valuing People, Supporting Personal Best’ encapsulates everything we try to achieve as schools.  If we remember that we are all about developing people (both staff and pupils) and encourage everybody to try their absolute best in the circumstances, we can be both successful and enjoy our work”.

In his spare time, John is a sports enthusiast, both supporting and participating and is always willing to give things a try.  This attitude has led him to complete marathons and triathlons, although the knees are starting to complain now!  He has four children, two of whom are still quite young and run rings around him!  When not spoiling his children, he also likes to travel.

Daniel has spent over 28 years in Retail, including 21 years with Tesco, where he held senior leadership roles in the UK, Central Europe and Asia.  More recently Daniel sat on the Board of GO Outdoors as Commercial Director for seven years.  He is also a non-executive director for the trading part of  Forget Me Not Childrens' Hospice Charity.  

Daniel is a keen outdoor enthusiast and having recently moved to West Yorkshire is making the most of the stunning countryside around Holmfirth where he lives with his partner. 

Richard is currently the Strategic Lead Officer for an academy trust in Leeds, leading on areas such as admissions, GDPR compliance, governance and academy growth. Prior to this, he held several roles within Leeds City Council and has over 20 years of experience in the education and training sector, covering areas such as school place planning, SEND provision, Early Years Provision, Post 16 learning, Apprenticeships and CEIAG.
